Itinerary

Upon arrival in Sigiriya, Sri Lanka, you will receive a warm welcome from our airport representative. You will then be transferred to Sigiriya, which is approximately 140 km from the airport. Enjoy an overnight stay in Sigiriya, Sri Lanka.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a journey to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala village. This unique project is dedicated to saving the Asian elephant and is home to the largest elephant herd in the world. After exploring the Orphanage, take a trip to a nearby spice garden, a popular tourist destination known for its peaceful and natural surroundings. On the way to Sigiriya, make a stop at the famous GOLDEN ROCK CAVE temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Finish the day with an overnight stay in Sigiriya, or opt to visit the Pinnawala open Zoo instead.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic 3-hour journey from Sigiriya to Kandy. Upon arrival, prepare to ascend the iconic Rock Fortress of Sigiriya, a historical and archaeological marvel nestled in the northern Matale District. This awe-inspiring site, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, boasts a rich cultural legacy. Following this adventure, continue your exploration with a two-hour and forty-minute drive to Kandy, a city renowned for its picturesque hill country and cultural significance. Discover the Aluvihara Rock Cave Temple, home to a striking Reclining Buddha Statue, before visiting the revered Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a pivotal Buddhist shrine within the Royal Palace Complex. Unwind in the evening with a captivating Kandyan Cultural show at the Kandyan arts and cultural centre, and conclude the day with a comfortable overnight stay in Kandy.

After having breakfast at the hotel, proceed from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, a journey that takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, embark on a tour of the Tea factory, Tea Plantation, Ramboda Falls, and Sri Bhakta Temple located in Ramboda. After exploring these attractions, return to your hotel. In the evening, consider visiting Nuwara Eliya Town, a charming village in Sri Lanka's central province. Explore the central market on New Bazar street, known for its vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, take in the sights at the Golf Course, the Hill club, and enjoy the picturesque views of Lake Gregory, a renowned historical landmark. Finally, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Colombo from Nuwara Eliya, a journey that takes about 5 hours. Along the way, make a stop at Adam’s Peak, a conical mountain in central Sri Lanka also known as Sri Pada, to take in the breathtaking views. Once you've finished, continue on to Colombo. Upon arrival, visit the National Museum, the largest museum in Sri Lanka, and explore other landmarks such as Independence Square, Gangarama Temple, BMICH, Town Hall, Nelum Pokuna, Pettah Bazaar, and a Hindu Temple. After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Before departing from Sri Lanka, make sure to enjoy a fulfilling breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight's departure time, arrangements will be made for your transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport.
